Historically, Tatar Galuh, Ciamis Regency is the only Regency in West Java that has a World Peace Gong, located at the Karang Kamulyan Ciung Wanara/Sang Manarah Site (Prabu Suratama). Established since September 9, 2009. The Placement Initiative was initiated by the Former West Java Regional Police Chief (Abah Irjen Pol. H. Anyon Carliyan, MPKN). Who at that time was still serving as the Priangan Regional Police Chief. This World Peace Gong is placed in Ciamis for a reason, because Tatar Galuh is the forerunner of World peace. This cannot be separated from the history of Galuh, because this site is a relic of the Galuh Kingdom (600 AD – 1300 AD). This is an icon for maintaining peace, local wisdom, and ancestral values.
